Technical Data

THERMOFIBER 1600  is a unique non-metallic aramid composite material designed for both wet and dry applications requiring high-performance and high-friction. The  TF1600 formula includes a very high proportion of Kevlar material enabling exceptional performance: very low wear rate, high & stable friction coefficient, silent operation and smooth running, even at elevated temperatures. In addition, TF1600 polishes mating surfaces, virtually eliminating wear.

Besides these features, TF1600 has been designed with ecology in mind. The material runs cleanly with LOW BRAKE DUST. The manufacturing process employs no hazardous contaminating products or by-products.
